We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join DeAngelo Contracting Services. This position offers a supportive work environment with a range of administrative responsibilities.
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will perform day‑to‑day administrative functions including handling basic office responsibilities, receiving visitors, and supporting business operations.
- Demonstrate a positive safety culture and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Execute all company policies and procedures, including project‑level plans and programs.
- Ensure work performance complies with contractual, federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Maintain documents (electronic and hard copy) in a neat and orderly manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and document all contractual inquiries.
- Greeting and directing project office visitors.
- Collect, receive, distribute, and sort postage, packages, etc.
- Perform assigned specialty tasks such as meeting invitations, event coordination, travel arrangements, etc.
- Maintain the office environment neat, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
- Present office manager with materials and supplies procurement needs in a timely manner.
- Provide complete, accurate, and timely submission of all assigned data‑entry, monitoring, reporting, and filing tasks.
- Maintain a strong customer service culture in all forms of communication.
- Other duties may include scanning, copying, licensing, greeting visitors, creating spreadsheets, and supporting managers as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2–4 years of related experience.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to compose general correspondence.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
- Team player.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
