Job Description
Scope:
The Copper Plater I is responsible for processing panels through the cleaning line, loading and unloading plating tanks. Additionally, they are responsible for changing filters, anode bags, adding copper to the plating baskets, tin anode bars, and managing the dumping and remaking of different chemistries according to company procedures and schedules. Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times is essential. The candidate must have good communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process boards through Copper Plating efficiently and in accordance with production traveler and work instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures.
Perform dumps and remakes of chemistries as per PM schedule. Maintain and clean all department equipment.
Ensure each job is accompanied by a traveler and that all previous steps are signed off.
Participate in start-up, operation, preventive maintenance, and quality checks following work instructions.
Follow all safety guidelines diligently.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
Basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
Effective communication skills with managers and supervisors.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and practice proper lifting techniques.
Excellent concentration and focus, even with minor interruptions.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1-2 years of experience in Copper Plating can substitute for educational requirements.
Basic computer skills are required.
