Brief Job Description The Peoplesoft Techno Functional Analyst completes software development tasks including features, new functionality, and upgrades. You will design, code, test, debug and document applications, collaborate with technical support staff and network specialists, and maintain production systems by implementing new interfaces or processing updates. The position requires independently managing work with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Functions
Design, code, and modify complex programmes, sub‑routines, stored procedures, objects, and scripts (40%).
Oversee and support training, modification, and updates of existing systems, resolve production problems (30%).
Establish and maintain development standards, conduct code reviews, and produce documentation (25%).
Assist with other related tasks as assigned (5%).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with PeopleSoft Financials data elements, PeopleTools, and SQL.
Experience with PeopleSoft Query, PeopleSoft Trees, configuration, and nVision.
Knowledge of BI Publisher, Unix/Linux, Windows and migration of objects/projects.
Strong coding and testing skills in PeopleCode, SQL, and PeopleTools.
Understanding of governmental accounting rules, legal compliance and project lifecycle.
Excellent written and oral communication for conveying technical information.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in complex systems.
Ability to develop technical reports, work plans, and status updates.
Initial Screening Criteria Minimum 8 years of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 functional experience. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred; work experience may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis.
Additional Information All selected candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Hybrid
work model requires presence in the Austin office for a minimum of three days per week. Travel up to 60% may be required.
