Acceleration Program Manager

who would support QUAY’s Accelerator team in the daily operations, development, and execution of our accelerator and in the sourcing and selecting of the top startups across industry verticals from around the world to join our programs! ✧ Role and Responsibilities Startup Selection Manage the back-end of the selection process – communicating over email and with our network about open applications, supporting the Program Director in due diligence, evaluation of applications, organization of the selection committees, interviews and interactions with our global referral partners Manage email communication between our institutional clients, as well as startup applicants, selection committees, and the QUAY Acceleration team itself. Support in relationship development with global VCs, consulates, and foreign government agencies for sourcing startups and program development. Support the database organization and CRM tracking for startup selection Program Operations During an accelerator program: Manage founder communication and challenges in logistics, scheduling, and network meetings. Participate in weekly 1:1’s with the startups, Lead Mentors, and Program Director to capture valuable data and needs Conduct mentor preparation and onboarding calls Open and lead program curriculum sessions between the mentors and founders Support the Program Director in mentor relations and follow up after sessions Pitch preparation with founders ahead of key events and opportunities Responsibilities outside of active accelerator programs Creation of decks and promotional materials for the accelerator program Support the Program Director in collecting feedback and making continuous improvements to the operations of the program. Booking of mentor sessions, ensuring proper communication on timing and logistics, booking conference rooms for sessions and dealing with scheduling conflicts. Event organization for our mentor kick-off events, investor lunches, and demo-days Continued network development and relationship building for QUAY’s mentor and expert network including relationships with VCs, governments, and leaders in corporations across diverse industries. ✧ Profile 1-5 years of experience in a business or startup environment Experience in roles that require ambiguity, the ability to wear multiple hats, or in an environment that is extremely dynamic and fast-paced Demonstrated experience in helping startups through an incubator, accelerator or innovation program, international startup experience a plus Demonstrated experience in community building + networking Experience with tools like Slack, Google Cloud, and Canva a plus Exceptional relationship-building, interpersonal, and intercultural skills Warm, clear, and concise communication skills (both written and verbal) An existing network in the tech/innovation space or proven to be able to build one. Strong project management skills (goal-setting, organization, and implementation). Exceptional problem-solving skills, from identifying challenges to executing on or connecting to the solution with some degree of autonomy. Works with values of integrity, accountability, and loves to have fun while executing the highest quality of work.
