Graham Technologies is seeking an Operations Security (OPSEC) Specialist to support its customer. The selected candidate will execute and manage daily OPSEC operations, ensuring effective protection of sensitive activities, missions, and information. The OPSEC Specialist will assist in developing, maintaining, and improving the customer's OPSEC program, ensuring compliance with government policies and best practices.
Location : Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of the day-to-day OPSEC program for the customer.
Provide and administer OPSEC briefings during onboarding and pre-deployment seminars.
Support the customer's OPSEC Working Group and assist directorate-level OPSEC Officers in maintaining the OPSEC program.
Conduct content reviews of public release requests in coordination with legal and communications offices, providing timely written responses.
Utilize analytical processes to protect critical operational information by identifying, controlling, and safeguarding sensitive activities and capabilities.
Support the Information Security and Security Education & Awareness programs.
Develop and implement educational materials and awareness products to train the workforce on proper security practices and procedures.
Coordinate and consolidate information for formal and informal action items related to OPSEC and security monitor programs.
Facilitate working groups related to OPSEC and Security Monitors across the intelligence community.
Review media, academic papers, and public presentations for OPSEC concerns and provide written recommendations.
Assist the government OPSEC team and other divisions in determining program scope, direction, and strategic objectives.
Assist in developing and maintaining marketing materials (e.g., web-based pamphlets, awareness products).
Update and maintain OPSEC program records, including decision recommendations, meeting minutes, and databases.
Conduct ongoing research into emerging OPSEC trends, threats, and best practices.
Required Skills
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
5 years of experience supporting OPSEC or related security programs
Completion of OPSEC training through the Interagency OPSEC Support Staff (IOSS), DoD, ODNI, or equivalent venues.
Demonstrated knowledge of the pre-publication review process.
Proven experience applying DoDM 5205.02 standards for Operations Security (OPSEC).
Preferred Skills
Experience in briefing and training personnel at various levels, with strong written and oral communication skills.
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
Experience using collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
