Job Title
Solar Junior Project Manager
Duration 1 year contract + extension/opportunity for conversion
Location On‑site in Juno Beach, FL at corporate HQ (relocation assistance available)
Rate $45–$51/hr (1.5x OT)
Base Pay Range $45.00/hr – $51.00/hr
Job Description Join us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge renewable energy projects and make a significant impact. The role focuses on the management of multiple projects, each at varying stages, across the United States and Canada. Occasional travel is required for local public hearings and project support.
Responsibilities
Critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activity at the right time to meet project schedule.
Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, etc., to ensure all project variables are identified and incorporated.
Develop the project’s technical scope.
Optimize project variables to improve both technical and financial feasibility.
Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
Support development teams with jurisdictional needs.
Coordinate engineering, estimating and procurement requirements.
Support the E&C engineering team with technical attributes for the development of designs.
Support the E&C cost estimating team for development of financial model.
Actively seek out and leverage market data to ensure financial model is healthy.
Present financial model to respective business unit(s) and actively manage financial model through executive budget approvals.
Competitively source, negotiate and execute commercial contracts for critical services including geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC construction services.
Uphold and represent E&C’s interests on assigned projects.
Engage in a variety of software applications to support your activities, manage critical data and deliverables as well as report on key indicators.
Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives to scale for growth.
Actively communicate and interface with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulatory Agencies, Local Communities, and other stakeholders.
Present project progress and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.
Ensure projects moving to the Construction stage can be turned over to the Construction Project Manager with an inclusive and executable construction plan.
Qualifications
Excellent project management, communication, financial, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
2 Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting with experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects preferred.
Familiarity with early‑stage construction, project scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and early‑stage construction.
