Structural Engineer – Entry Level Location:
Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid
Schedule:
Full-Time
Salary Range:
$72,000 – $75,000
What You’ll Do
Perform structural calculations with guidance to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
Assist in pile plan production, analyzing foundation loads and soil interactions.
Support the development of structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and industry‑standard tools.
Pick up and implement redline markups accurately and efficiently.
Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets.
Participate in QA/QC processes, reviewing work prior to submission and updating documents per reviewer feedback.
Collaborate across civil, electrical, and project management teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Understanding of steel design per AISC and structural design principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Eagerness to learn PV (photovoltaic) pile design tools and solar‑specific design methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
