We are looking for a Operations & Safety Specialist to join our Rexel team in Carrollton, TX!
Summary The Operations & Safety Specialist is responsible for providing operational support for branch and sales teams. Assist with operational procedures including inventory management, warehouse management, fleet maintenance, safety, order management, and customer support. Implement procedural changes meant to improve performance or efficiency.
What You'll Do
Complete or monitor operational functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and regulations
Help drive process optimization and continuous process improvement
Ensure all environmental, health, and safety protocols and policies are being followed
Provide operational support including but not limited to: order fulfilment management, sales support, inventory surveillance and cycle counting, warehouse management, order processing, material management, customer and supplier relationship management
Work with branch to meet or exceed budgeted total sales and margin objectives
Manage branch expenses including facility, maintenance, supplies, equipment leases, etc
Resolve customer claims and concerns
Motivate and train branch, warehouse, and sales team
Participate in branch sales, quality, and service meetings
Interface with key suppliers to develop and maintain good relationships
May fill in for other branch and warehouse roles as needed
Manage facility, equipment, and vehicle maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
2+yearsof Business Operations experience
Experience in the electrical distribution industry a plus
High School or GED - Required
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Knowledge of electrical distribution industry, current market, customers, suppliers, and competitors
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to negotiate contracts
Solid presentation skills
Strong knowledge / experience using Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power BI
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize workload and seek process and productivity improvements

Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently – 21% to 50%
