The regional manager is responsible for leading a team of office-based sales employees who drive product sales to new and/or existing customers. Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, the RM focuses on sales revenue growth, coaching, associate development, and performance management. The RM will drive the regional business plan, develop operating plans, provide input to key business decisions and resource planning, and execute associate tactical plans. Major Job Responsibilities
Responsible for sales quota achievement within assigned region through the management of the sales pipeline and monthly forecasting Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement through a digital first strategy Identify significant trends or issues of strategic importance and communicate them to business leadership. Provide formal/informal feedback and recommendations Encourage the team to strive for operational excellence by challenging old methods and taking responsible risks to maximize results Plan and monitor progress of each territory to achieve and exceed annual sales goals Provide sales mentoring and training of standard processes related to technical product knowledge, competitive positioning, demonstration skills, role plays, and value selling Provide frequent and timely verbal and written feedback on performance related to business objectives Recruit, manage, develop, and motivate inside sales team members Collaborate with internal/external groups to achieve business results and coach others in effective teamwork Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required Ability to travel 40% of the time Strong process, planning, forecasting, and negotiation skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards Preferred Qualifications
3-6 years of Health Care Experience preferred 2 years of outside sales experience with proven track record preferred Ideal candidates will be located in Chicago, IL Work Environment and Policies
