Position Summary The Regional QC Manager is responsible for leading and standardizing quality control laboratory operations across multiple manufacturing sites.
This role ensures timely and accurate testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to support production and product release. It drives lab performance, ensures regulatory and quality system compliance, and fosters a culture of safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
A critical focus is the development, engagement, and performance of a diverse team of laboratory professionals.
Responsibilities & Duties (Selected)
Manage and develop technical staff, including performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Ensure analytical chemistry and laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR) test methods are validated and maintained.
Manage multi‑site QC operations supporting manufacturing and material release.
Apply contamination control principles and lab safety practices.
Operate LIMS, data integrity, and laboratory documentation systems.
Understand regulatory requirements (EPA, FIFRA, ISO 9001) and GMP‑like environments.
Apply strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Qualifications (Selected)
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 7–10 years in a QC laboratory environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the agricultural chemical or specialty chemical industry.
Experience with cleaning validation, method transfer, and statistical quality control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (eg., Oracle), and data visualization tools.
Six Sigma or Lean certification.
Salary Salary Range: $128,000–$160,000 (varies on experience and geographic region).
