What would you do as our Logistics Manager?

Lead day‑to‑day operations of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Supervise and develop two direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.

Manage logistics scheduling, carrier coordination, and load optimization to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Oversee the flow of materials and finished goods through the distribution process, maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.

Monitor freight costs and collaborate with purchasing and finance teams to identify savings opportunities.

Partner with operations, customer service, and production teams to ensure alignment on shipping priorities and deadlines.

Drive process improvement initiatives in packaging, staging, loading, and transportation efficiency.

Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics.

Maintain KPIs related to shipping accuracy, on‑time delivery, freight cost, and inventory accuracy.

Lead, promote, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Audit customer orders for accuracy and/or production delays.

Work with Operations Manager to control production scheduling and backlogs.

Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.

Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

The skills and experience you need:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or distribution management ideally in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Experience leading small teams and managing day‑to‑day shipping and receiving operations.

Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where priorities shift quickly.
