Up to $130,000 DOE

We’re seeking an experienced

Commercial Construction Superintendent

to manage day‑to‑day field operations on commercial and residential job sites in the Ocala area. In this role, you’ll oversee construction progress, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on‑time, in‑scope, and code‑compliant project delivery.

This is a key leadership position requiring strong field management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day operations on job sites for commercial and residential builds

Coordinate construction schedules and subcontractor activities

Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations

Maintain high standards for quality control and jobsite cleanliness

Handle redline drawing updates, daily reporting, and weekly photo documentation

Participate in pre‑construction meetings and close‑out processes

Support warranty management and secure Certificates of Occupancy

Communicate regularly with municipalities, vendors, and internal teams

Promote a safe and professional work environment on‑site

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects

At least 5 years in a supervisory role

OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Proficient in reading blueprints and construction documents

Solid understanding of construction codes, inspections, and compliance

Excellent scheduling and time management

Committed to safety and delivering high‑quality workmanship
