Credit Analyst – Georgia’s Own Credit Union
Join us as a Commercial Credit Analyst in our dynamic team. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement to balance in‑office collaboration with remote work.
Responsibilities
Spread financial statements and tax returns for businesses and individuals, accurately inputting figures into spreading software.
Prepare cash flow, leverage, and debt service charts as needed.
Collaborate with commercial underwriters to assess covenants.
Develop, apply, and evaluate regulatory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and other regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business (including two levels of accounting) or equivalent experience, such as 1‑3 years of accounting, financial statements or tax returns.
Qualifications
Knowledge of financial statements for various entities and tax returns or personal financial statements.
Proficiency with Excel (reading/writing formulas).
Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
Detail oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Physical Requirements Work in an office environment. Require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs). Clerical duties on various technology platforms. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities available.
Compliance All lending positions must comply with the SAFE Act and NMLS registration requirements. Notify the Credit Union within 30 days of any changes in the NMLS registry.
