Overview Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales, market, and financial data to identify patterns, trends, and factors that impact business performance.
Collect and organize data from internal and external sources to support forecasting models.
Evaluate past performance to identify seasonal trends, market shifts, and other relevant variables that may influence future outcomes.
Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict inventory needs.
Utilize statistical methods, software tools Excel and historical data to create accurate short-term and long-term forecasts.
Work with teams to automate reporting (Netsuite, MBS, Tableau, and SiteTracker) and streamline data collection processes.
Work closely with departments such as sales, installation, supply chain, purchasing and finance to ensure accurate forecasts align with business strategies.
Assist in developing sourcing plans that optimize inventory levels while minimizing overstock or stockouts.
Analyze supplier pricing, contract terms, and shipping logistics to recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Implement process improvements to streamline sourcing and procurement processes, reducing inefficiencies and associated costs.
Collaborate with supply chain, finance, purchasing, installation and sales teams to align sourcing strategies with business forecasts and operational requirements.
Support inventory teams with timely deliveries and adjustments based on updated forecasts or changes in demand.
Identify potential risks related to sourcing and supply chain disruptions, recommending solutions and contingency plans to mitigate impact on operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in forecasting, data analysis, inventory planning, or procurement.
Telecommunications industry experience is preferred, but not required.
