Overview Spectrum Financial Group is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Financial Planner to join our growing team. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners organize their financial “junk drawers” and create lasting financial security.

As part of a nationally recognized MassMutual firm, you’ll deliver comprehensive financial planning that integrates life insurance, investments, retirement, estate, and tax strategies. You’ll work collaboratively with experienced advisors and specialists to help clients achieve clarity, confidence, and control over their financial futures.

What You’ll Do

Build and manage lasting client relationships through a consultative, goals-based approach.

Develop customized financial plans addressing insurance, investment, tax, and estate needs.

Conduct in-depth analysis of clients’ financial situations to design tailored wealth strategies.

Provide guidance on estate planning, wills, trusts, and wealth transfer in collaboration with estate attorneys and CPAs.

Manage client portfolios, including investment and cash flow management, risk mitigation, and asset allocation.

Educate clients on insurance and investment solutions that align with long-term goals.

Leverage CRM and financial planning tools to track progress, deliver insights, and ensure exceptional service.

Partner with Spectrum FG team members and the MassMutual Advanced Planning Group to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Maintain knowledge of current market trends, tax law, and regulatory updates to provide informed advice.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial sales.

Working knowledge of estate planning, tax strategies, and investment principles.

Proficiency with financial planning software and CRM systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a client practice.

CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, or progress toward professional designations a plus.

Series 7, 66, and Life & Health licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain).
