Look no further, we are hiring for a talented Production Shift Supervisor to join our Kindeva team in Northridge. The individual will aid the supervisor in managing all functions involved in the production of Kindeva products in a safe and economic fashion. Responsibilities:

Guides activities and personnel to achieve quality production, on schedule and at the lowest possible cost. Cultivates and leads a team environment for employees by encouraging and implementing cross training programs, cooperation, innovation, flexibility and teamwork aligning with the Kindeva PRECISE values. Schedules production, determines priorities, allocates work assignments, communicates expectations and monitors workflow. Trains employees on all aspects of the manufacturing processes and operations. Provides employees with proper tools, equipment and information including any changes that may affect their work. Ensures a safe work environment by reviewing production standards, OSHA requirements, and recognizing and resolving safety-related problems. Ensures employees receive training as specified. Completes housekeeping audit and job safety analysis on a regular basis. Participates in the site emergency squad activities. Utilizes available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment and/or related technical problems. Oversees changeovers to achieve maximum efficiency. Analyzes and interprets statistical data and charts to identify trends and determine improvement plans. Communicates and follows-up on quality concerns and process/operational changes with appropriate staff. Requirements:

Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience. Problem solving, computer, administrative, and short-term planning skills are required to perform the duties in this position. Great communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve non-routine problems with highly complex and technical equipment. Adapts different techniques to deal with variations in conditions. Regularly demonstrates the ability to work independently on highly complex assignments. This job also requires performing other duties as assigned. The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate.
