As a Trade Compliance Co-op, you will gain exposure to a dynamic business environment where you can apply classroom skills to real-life supply chain situations with a focus on customs regulations. The experience will increase your knowledge of Hasbro’s global supply chain for consumer products. The Global Logistics Department works with an extensive network of partners and internal teams. The Co-op will coordinate with Transportation providers for domestic and international shipments, Customs Brokers, Vendors, Booking Agents, Affiliate Markets and Warehouses worldwide.

What You'll Do

Ensure adherence to all applicable trade laws and regulations, collaborating with the Global Trade Customs Compliance Team to facilitate the swift movement of goods across borders.

Support the development of solutions for Hasbro’s international markets, using project management skills on diverse projects.

Gain insight into tariff classification of Hasbro products under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and assist LATAM teams by compiling and organizing product data for accurate tariff classification with customs brokers. This includes collecting technical specifications, product descriptions, and other relevant documentation.

Collaborate to manage US Export Laws & Regulations, lead shipments, update Smartsheet, and prepare shipper's letters of instruction for Electronic Export Information (EEI).

Engage in internal compliance tasks such as Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) quarterly entry testing, LATAM post-entry audit, and assist in export denied party screening.

Analyze and track global duty spend and IEEPA tariffs, and assist with mitigation strategies.

Partner with Hasbro brand teams, global commercial markets, and their customs brokers to ensure adherence to Hasbro policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent with at least one quarter or semester left after December 2026.

Available to work in hybrid mode, with three full-time days in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office for the duration of the internship.

Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones.

Desire to adapt and learn, embracing Hasbro’s core values of Passion, Integrity, Creativity and Community.

Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

Willingness to take initiative and develop processes and reports related to the Hasbro business.

Candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation (free parking).

Hasbro Headquarters are in Pawtucket, RI, with shuttle service to/from the office/commuter rail station.

Nice to Have

Relevant Supply Chain, Logistics or business internship experience.

Proficient in Spanish.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.60 per hour. The hiring range will vary based on experience, skills, location, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of the overall compensation package.
