Job Overview The Logistics and Customs Analyst supports the organization in ensuring that most timely routes and most cost-effective suppliers are selected for Freight, that accurate Customs Duty is declared for all products, that products are cleared from Customs in a timely manner without demurrages or detentions, and that the Customs & Freight Team is managed in an effective manner.
Role Summary
Execute customs duty drawback through the support from GTS
Support import and export declaration in daily operation, such as making, following up and reviewing shipping doc. including Invoice, Packing list, B/L, Certification of Origin, etc.
Manage freight forwarders for operational excellence to meet requirements of business and customs regulations.
Responsible for tracking shipping status, daily cooperation with global forwarder or local carrier to meet delivery requirement date.
Global/Local transportation management and Freight cost control
Identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as customs delays, trade disputes, or transportation issues. Develop contingency plans to address emergencies and minimize operational impacts
Identify process inefficiencies and implement measures to streamline customs clearance and logistics operations. Leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to enhance efficiency, visibility, and accuracy in tracking shipments and managing related cost
Monitor and analyze logistics costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics providers to optimize freight expenses and minimize overheads.

Qualifications
Preferred 10+ years of SCM experience especially in customs and freight area in the automotive division.
Functional knowledge of import and export regulations and familiarity with customs practices in Korea.
Expertise in freight services and regulations
Leadership skills and the ability to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Experience in SAP MM Module is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree (international business, supply chain, law, or related field).
Competencies & Skills
Fluent in spoken & written English (Toeic 820, Toeic speaking Level 7, OPIC IH)
Excellence in MS-Office (Excel/PPT), well known about data management/analysis tool.
