Job Description Key responsibilities include:
Contacting assigned suppliers to determine when they will be compliant with the new UDI regulation
Much of the work will involve contacting suppliers via phone and email; some suppliers are outside of the US
Maintaining detailed information on the compliance status of each supplier
Setting up meetings and following up regularly with suppliers to ensure they meet their commitments
Escalating to others in the team if suppliers are not meeting their commitments
Desired Characteristics:
Familiarity with other similar regulations, such as RoHS, REACh, Conflict Minerals etc.
Detail oriented
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related discipline – HIGHLY PREFERRED, or HS Diploma/GED plus 3 years work experience
Computer proficiency, particularly with MS-Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships
