In 2023, CDM Media will host over 200 events across more than 26 markets. These events focus on industry, region, organizational role, and current hot topics, allowing delegates to address issues, learn, network, and gain key insights. CDM Media is headquartered in Scottsdale. JOB DESCRIPTION The Event Operations Manager manages relationships with CDM Media's summit and online media sponsors, as well as Fortune 1000 CIO delegates across a global portfolio of industry events. From the point a sale is finalized or a delegate is confirmed, the Event Operations Manager is responsible for managing event expectations, program deliverables, hotel logistics, and building strong client relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES : Main liaison to clients and delegates from contract signing to event attendance. Manage client relationships daily, including collection of deliverables, contract fulfillment, and travel and event logistics. Source hotels and venues for assigned events, from RFP to contract negotiation. Manage hotel, audiovisual, and vendor orders; oversee session room setups. Plan and execute events successfully from a client service perspective. Create personalized itineraries and handle meeting selections. Support sales activities and communicate regularly with Global Sales Teams. Report and measure client and event activities accurately before and after events. Administer sales management systems and mobile event technology to ensure high-quality events. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree. Experience in Marketing, Events, or PR. Previous event management experience is a plus. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects on different timelines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed. Experience communicating with corporate executives and building relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn proprietary event management technology. Approximately 25% travel required.
