POSITION DESCRIPTION The Senior Buyer supports day-to-day purchasing and procurement operations at the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for purchase order administration, invoice reconciliation, vendor onboarding, and item master data maintenance in SAP. The ideal candidate has a background in Supply Chain or Finance and works cross-functionally with Accounting, Production, and Corporate Supply Chain teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement Support & Purchase Order Management

– Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders (POs) for materials, packaging, and indirect spend in SAP; Reconcile invoices against POs and receipts; Investigate and resolve 3‑way match variances (invoice, PO, receipt) Vendor Management

– Initiate and manage vendor onboarding in SAP; Maintain accurate vendor records; Act as the plant’s primary point of contact for vendor coordination and issue resolution Request for Proposal (RFP) Management

– Bid receipt, market comparisons, evaluation and analysis, clarifications for local contracts specific to the manufacturing site; Direct and coordinate the activities of facility personnel engaged in formulating requests for proposals or requisitions for the facility Performance Analysis & Compliance Oversight

– Determine the necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts; Compile data for preparing cost reporting; Perform monthly Open PO review with the site; Invoices Match exemption reports Item Master Maintenance

– Create and update material master data in SAP, including cost, lead time, UOM, and sourcing details; Ensure data integrity and compliance with company-wide master data standards Reporting & Analysis

– Generate reports for open POs, unmatched invoices, purchase spend; Support monthly accruals and cost variance analysis; Assist with internal audits and cycle count reconciliation related to procurement

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely resolution of 3‑way match invoice issues within SLA Timely conversion of purchase requests to Purchase Orders and ensuring lines of PO are accurately entered and received Vendor setup cycle time

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 1–3 years of relevant experience in buying, purchasing, or supply chain operations Experience with SAP (MM or procurement modules) is required Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Manufacturing or beverage industry experience is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS Employee frequently required to talk and hear in person, via video conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.), and telephonically. Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally required to stand and walk and is frequently required to sit.
