As the DAM Manager for Photo Asset Management, you will be responsible for curating, organizing, and distributing photo and design assets in alignment with organizational standards. You’ll maintain metadata accuracy, support vendor and photographer workflows, and ensure that all assets are discoverable, accessible, and compliant with governance policies.
What You Will Contribute
Curate and normalize incoming photo sets; apply approved metadata and taxonomy standards.
Manage daily asset ingestion, ensuring that project folders and tagging follow established SOPs.
Intake assets from photographers, vendors, and external partners; track and log deliveries.
Deliver files to vendors or internal teams using approved sharing platforms (e.g., Box, Drive, LucidLink).
Maintain an SLA of 24 hours for ingesting and distributing priority photo shoots.
Develop training materials and quick start guides, support onboarding for new DAM users.
Generate monthly usage reports highlighting top-performing assets and license expirations.
Collaborate with creative and communications teams to ensure proper ingestion and publication timelines.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the content distribution process.
Support rights management, archival procedures, and compliance reporting.
What You Will Bring
Experience with DAM tools, metadata, and digital content workflows.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with metadata standards (IPTC, EXIF) and DAM systems such as Acquia Assets, iconik, or LucidLink.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving asset management challenges.
