Summary Under limited supervision, the Grants Analyst and Reporting Manager implements grant analysis and process improvement operational procedures, along with supervising department staff. Provides technical support to Program staff research and applying for grant funded opportunities. Acts as liaison between ANTHC and external funders to ensures accuracy and timely reporting for grants application.

Position Responsibilities Supports the delivery of highest quality grant analysis and process improvement services to organizations and leaders in the Alaska Tribal Health System (external customers) and to program managers and division leadership (internal customers).

Analyze grant performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of funded projects and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on grant activities, financial performance, and compliance status for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of grant management and administration. Facilitates effective communication, problem resolution and increased efficiencies on behalf of the division and represents division needs in these areas.

Serves on division leadership team, supporting and collaborating with division leaders to continually improve and adapt departmental structure and resources to meet program needs. Represents the department in work associated with corporate leadership initiatives, development planning and implementation, and in outcome measurement, review, performance and reporting.

Provides internal consulting related to grants analysis and process improvement. Facilitates and manages collaborative relationships with Alaska Tribal Health System partners and other organizations on project development and implementation.

Completes internal and external written and oral reports professionally and in a timely manner. Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to assigned professional and support staff. Develops goals and priorities in conjunction with employees and assigns tasks and projects.

Manages special projects as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Qualification Master’s Degree in Business, Communications, English, or Healthcare Administration, or related field. Progressively responsible professional/exempt work‑related experience, education or training may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis for college education. CPA or CIA can substitute for master’s degree.

Minimum Experience Qualification Non‑supervisory – Five (5) years of grant management, auditing/accounting, process improvement and/or grant compliance experience in a non‑profit setting. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.

TO INCLUDE – Supervisory – Two (2) years of experience in a management position supervising professional and other employees in an integrated work team. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.

Preferred Certification Qualification Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Audit (CIA) or similar investigative expertise is a plus.

Additional Requirements May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. May be called out to work off‑shift in emergency situations. According to the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain specific technical certifications and programming language skills.
