Job Title and Location
Arcadis is seeking a
BIM Coordinator
in Houston, TX to join our North America Places Group. The role requires regular site visits within the Houston area.
Responsibilities
Develop BIM strategy, oversee all BIM work on select projects, and ensure BIM quality across all projects.
Develop and supervise project staff and processes related to implementing BIM for project controls.
Coordinate processes for complete model life cycle development and functionality (3D, 4D, 5D).
Review and validate construction models, including 4D/5D contractor model submittals.
Provide and format information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project, including visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress.
Provide technical advice and coach parties in the implementation and application of BIM.
Develop and maintain the suite of BIM documentation guidelines, including BIM standards, implementation plans, and quality control procedures.
Liaise with Country BIM leads to ensure alignment with global standards.
Review progress, compliance, and clash detection reports produced by the project team using platforms such as BIM360 or ACC.
Assist with estimates for engineering budget and schedule and oversee technical resources on large, complex projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5+ years’ experience working with BIM environments and applications.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience integrating and applying BIM in a multidisciplinary environment and managing a team of more than 5 BIM modellers.
Strong technical skills in Common Data Environment platforms (Autodesk BIM360, ACC, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Dynamo, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills, including internal and external presentation experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Information Management, IT, or equivalent work experience.
Compensation Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000. Actual salaries vary based on experience, education, and project/location.
