Outreach Specialist
U.S.VETS is the nation’s largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. We are seeking a passionate and driven Outreach Specialist to connect veterans experiencing homelessness with the housing and support services they need to achieve independence and stability.

Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Responsibilities
Publicize U.S.VETS services and build relationships with community partners.
Coordinate screenings, transportation, and referrals for veterans entering our programs.
Maintain accurate records and databases to track outreach efforts and client progress.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely documentation and support.
Participate in weekly outreach meetings and contribute to special events and projects.
Depending on program assignment, conduct assessments, complete VA documentation, and work closely with clinical teams.
Qualifications
Empathetic and mission‑driven, with a heart for serving veterans.
Organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage data and coordinate logistics.
Strong communicators, both verbally and in writing.
Team players who thrive in collaborative environments.
Tech‑savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Licensed drivers, meeting company insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field.
Experience working with homeless populations and/or veterans.
