Responsibilities

Partner with the Spa Director to lead daily spa operations, including massage therapists, aestheticians, and salon staff.

Oversee scheduling, product inventory, and ordering for all spa and salon providers.

Lead and mentor spa coordinators, attendants, and salon personnel, ensuring high service standards and employee engagement.

Develop and maintain the spa’s treatment and wellness programs, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations.

Collaborate with hotel and resort teams to integrate spa offerings with resort activities and events.

Maintain financial oversight: budgeting, labor forecasting, payroll, and retail sales targets.

Execute daily operations using systems such as SpaSoft, ensuring accurate booking, rescheduling, and revenue tracking.

Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures as required.

Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, MSDS binder maintenance, and overall cleanliness.

Represent the spa externally, helping to secure vendor relationships and promote the spa brand.

Complete special projects and assignments as directed by the Spa Director or hotel management.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.

Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and data interpretation.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as business demands require.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven leadership experience.

High customer‑service orientation – able to manage client concerns and operational issues positively.

Experience handling high‑pressure, stressful environments successfully.

Experience, Education & Licensure

Minimum of two years in a spa environment with cumulative experience across various spa services.

Minimum of two years in a managerial or supervisory position.

High school diploma or GED (college education preferred).

CPR certification, management training program, and computer training preferred.

Cosmetology or massage‑therapist license from California (preferred but not mandatory).

Compensation Base Pay Start Rate: $70,000 - $77,500 per year + bonus incentive.
