Our Trade Compliance department plays a pivotal role in the international business segment. Candidates will work closely with L3Harris Sales and Program Management to ensure compliance with U.S. State Department and U.S. Commerce Department controlled goods regulations. The role requires strong knowledge of ITAR and EAR, project management skills, and the ability to work across functions to support international growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Execute divisional compliance policies (e.g., visitor processing, foreign travel, and restricted parties screening) in accordance with U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR).

Provide compliance guidance to the business population.

Authorize and manage license and agreement applications.

Maintain U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Commerce license record‑keeping requirements.

Review export authorizations for accuracy and adherence to Corporate Trade policies.

Implement and enforce Corporate Trade policies.

Review applicability of exemptions and exceptions for the department.

Ensure the department remains current on U.S. Government authorization policies and requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 years of related experience.

2–4 years of experience and prior knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.

10% travel, if required.

Preferred Additional Skills

Ability to coordinate simultaneous activities and prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface with personnel at all levels.

High level of integrity and discretion.

BA/BS or equivalent experience in Business, Political Science, International Studies, or related field.

Proficiency with computer software applications, e.g., Adobe, web‑based applications, MS Excel, MS Word.

Experience with U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR).

Willingness to travel, if required.
