CT Technologist
COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS
* $4.25 - 2 nd Shift
* $8.00 - 3 rd Shift
* $4.75 - Weekend
Under the supervision of a radiologist, and direction of the Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on a multi-detector CT scanner. Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy, performs CTA's and inject contrast media where applicable. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.
Minimum Education
* High School Graduate or equivalent
* Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum Work Experience
* Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience
* Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
* Must possess current Vt. state RT license
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association
* Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure
* CT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment)
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
* Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
* Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.*
Pay Range = $31.71 - $46.88
