Job Description
Installation: Setting up new HVAC systems according to blueprints and wiring plans.
Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing problems with HVAC systems using specialized tools and techniques.
Repairs: Fixing faulty components, replacing worn parts, and ensuring systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
Energy Management: Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of energy-efficient HVAC systems.
Customer Service: Interacting with clients, explaining maintenance needs, and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues with HVAC equipment.
Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment.
Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety protocols and using equipment safely.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods.
Requirements
High school or equivalent
Commercial HVAC experience
Clear and valid driver's license
EPA Certification a plus
Texas HVAC Technician Registration a plus
HVAC Trade School degree and OSHA 10 Hour training are a plus
Back Flow License a plus
