The Supply Chain Analyst - Transportation is responsible for assisting the field with resolving carrier and transportation issues. In addition, the Transportation Analyst manages a range of operational reports in both Excel and Power BI. In this role, you will be responsible for processing freight claims and freight claim payments. Managing carrier and field queries related to 3rd party transportation. Location: This is a hybrid role out of our Newport News, VA HQ location. Essential duties and responsibilities

Responsibility and ownership of over $24.5 million in freight claim recovery. Reviewing/filing freight claims in a timely manner Responsible for communicating status, issues and opportunities to the branches, Branch Management and HQ management. Research and resolve any disputed claims Provide analytical support to the transportation managers by running operational reports Manage carrier and field queries related to 3rd party transportation. Assist team in analyzing system and processes for improvements Represent the organization to customers, associates, and leadership as needed Work overtime as needed Adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures Perform other duties or functions as requested by management Preferred Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Supply Chain Degree, progress toward, or equivalent experience Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability and desire to take initiative for continued process improvements. Willingness to take ownership of assigned projects Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment Fundamental knowledge of our business is preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills required/Basic Power BI skills preferred Benefits

Pay Range

$4,308.34 - $6,466.67 This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. Equal Opportunity Statement
