Job Summary
Electrical Business Development Manager to drive growth, source/qualify large commercial/industrial electrical contracts, build customer relationships, collaborate with senior leadership, oversee estimators, apply best practices, conduct site visits, prepare proposal letters etc.
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, including sourcing and qualifying potential projects for large commercial and industrial electrical contracts.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with current and prospective customers to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintains close working relationship with senior leadership team.
Provides oversight and assistance as needed for team of experienced estimators.
Applies estimating best practices and procedures.
Conducts job site visits as necessary.
Qualifies quotes for special materials and sub-contracts.
Prepares and oversees proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects.
Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Travels as required.
Qualifications
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills and exposure to MS Office.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
