Office Location: Albany, New York Work Schedule: This role has hybrid flexibility, allowing 1 remote day per week based on business needs. Compensation Range: $21.63 - $24.04 per hour We are currently seeking a Legal Secretary to work with our Litigation Practice Group . The Role You will provide legal administrative support in a team-oriented environment including: Preparing and submitting documents to courts, including electronic filing (e-filing). Coordinating appointments, depositions, hearings, and other meetings for lawyers and clients. Interacting with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and court personnel via phone and email. Upkeep of client records and filing. Assisting billing professionals with general secretarial support. Skills Needed for Success Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities. Accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping. Confidence and ability to support multiple billing professionals. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency with filing documents electronically through CM/ECF and NYS E-Court websites. 5+ years of litigation experience. Overtime flexibility. Why Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP?
