Job Description

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the master data setup process for Hoover. This key role plays an essential part in maintaining high levels of quality master data, nurturing customer relationships, and enabling plant performance.

Travel Required: Up to 25%

Essential Functions

  • Deliver accurate and quality master data setup within NetSuite. Guarantee new product readiness for product launches and promotions
  • Develop standard templates and/or New Item creation tool to expedite process
  • Ensure master data updates are completed within designated timeframe with high level of accuracy
  • Adhere to standard nomenclature, design, and protocols
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison between operations, finance, sales, planning, and upper management
  • Consolidate master data results into KPIs and share with management teams for informed decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation for the future
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in manufacturing industry
  • 1-2 years’ experience in data management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Management, or related field
  • ERP Experience
  • NetSuite (preferred), SAP, JD Edwards, etc
  • Familiarity with product master data process (customer setup, pricing, BOMs, Routings)
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, data warehouses)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively: emphasis on communication and presentation skills
