As a Business Office Assistant, you will generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely fashion. Your work will contribute to the financial stability of our organization, ensuring resources are optimized to provide the best care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly
- Interact with residents, families, and external partners to address billing inquiries and provide clear, empathetic explanations when needed
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency

Qualifications
- Previous A/R experience in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred but not required – training will be provided
- Familiarity with healthcare billing practices, regulations, and relevant software applications (e.g. billing systems, Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications
- Deadline driven, detail-oriented individual
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
