Assistant Professor of Instruction in Artificial Intelligence

Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies
(OWLS) seeks an exemplary and visionary candidate to join us in preparing reflective leaders for today’s global workforce. An ideal candidate will provide evidence of experience and potential in the areas of teaching and service as follows.
Teaching
Teach nontraditional and traditional students both undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, interdisciplinary studies, including but not limited to organization, workforce, and leadership studies, as well as teaching and training methods.
Teach courses online, on campus (San Marcos), and off campus; advise students as needed; participate in curriculum development including online courses; participate in undergraduate prior learning assessment (PLA); serve on graduate exit committees.
Research
Research is optional for instructional faculty but research that supports teaching and learning in artificial intelligence is feasible.
Service
Assist BAAS Coordinator with advising and mentoring students.
Service may include engaging in activities at the department, college, and university level that build relationships with other university departments, local businesses, and community organizations as well as participating in professional organizations.
