Provider Duties
Serves as the primary care provider to long‑ and short‑term residents, assessing patients and performing physical examinations, obtaining and updating medical histories.
Team‑based care: collaborates with the attending physician and nursing staff to provide the highest standard of care.
Builds relationships with residents and families, educates and formulates evidence‑based care plans congruent with patients’ needs and desires.
Complies with federal, state, local legal and professional requirements, studies legislation, enforces adherence, and advises management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; upholds core values of respect and cultural sensitivity.
Reviews and ensures charting, documentation, and administration of care is up to date and performed timely and efficiently.
Requirements
Health Promotion and Maintenance, Thoroughness, Clinical Skills, Informing Others, Medical Teamwork, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Medication Administration, Pain Management, Self‑Development.
Must be Board Certified.
Extensive training will be offered.
We will consider applicants with hospital setting experience.
