Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Epic Applications Specialists who help end-users be more effective using Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system applications and computing tools. The Specialist will support multiple Epic applications, providing frequent classroom instruction, ongoing rounding with end-users, and completing multiple Epic credentials. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to enhancing clinical and operational workflows through effective use of Epic systems.

Responsibilities

Support multiple Epic applications by troubleshooting, assisting, and instructing end‑users.

Deliver classroom training and technical assistance to end‑users.

Coordinate training sessions and related activities.

Use ServiceNow to track, resolve incidents and provide daily system support.

Participate in Epic implementations as an end‑user or trainer.

Qualifications Candidate must meet one of the following:

One year of full‑time experience primarily supporting Epic applications.

Two years of full‑time experience primarily supporting EHR business applications.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

Knowledge of Epic functionality as an end‑user.

Minimum six months experience in a clinical or health‑care organization role.

Experience providing technical assistance, training, and support in the use of an EMR (preferably Epic).

Current Epic Credential/Certification or willingness to complete a six‑week program to obtain credential in an assigned application.

Experience coordinating training sessions and related activities.

Experience delivering technical and/or non‑technical classroom training.

Proficiency in entering, tracking, and resolving ServiceNow incidents.

Background in providing daily system support to staff, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring proper resolution and functionality for end‑users.

Participation in one or more Epic implementations as an end‑user or Epic trainer.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with computer training business partners to maintain effectiveness of training programs.

Shift Availability: ARMC is a 24‑hour facility. Applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.
