Under general supervision of the Manager of Breast Imaging, the Mammography Technologist provides mammographic technical skills to the department mission. The technologist performs mammography exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury to patients of all ages and may also assist in other modalities as needed.
Position Summary Part Time, Per Diem. Requires knowledge of diagnostic radiology and mammography, operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
Job Requirements
Two years post‑high‑school training in an approved radiologic technology program; MSRT/ARRT required.
State radiology/mammography license and all applicable educational requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and supervising staff.
