Overview
A wonderful family in Presidio Heights, San Francisco, CA is seeking a 1-week on/1-week off ROTA Nanny. The job starts November 5th. The schedule will be Tuesday‑Tuesday from 6:30am‑8:30pm, but parents step in and take over most evenings by 7/7:30pm. They sit down for dinner at 6pm every night. The children are 5‑years‑old, 4‑years‑old, and 2‑years‑old. The eldest two children are in school Monday through Friday 9am‑5pm and the youngest is in school Monday through Friday 9am‑12:30pm and naps right after school. The parents will have a date night at least 1x/week so they do need care later into the evenings when a date night is happening. The candidate to hire can fully live‑out or can live‑in when working their week and live‑out when not working. The nanny will work alongside parents on the weekends when all children aren't in school; the nanny must be comfortable handling all 3 children on weekday mornings before school and until school drop off, after school, on weekends, and if a child or children are home sick from school. They are only looking for a nanny who already resides in the Bay Area OR is willing to relocate here; therefore, no fly in/fly out.
Responsibilities
Doing the children's laundry
Preparing meals for the children such as breakfast and lunch (Chef prepares dinner)
Seeking out activities for the children (especially on weekends to help keep them entertained)
Driving the children to and from school and activities (family can provide a vehicle for the nanny to use)
Keeping the children's rooms and play areas tidy and organized
Playing with the children
Overseeing developmental milestones
When the children are in school some family assistant duties will be seen to around the home
Traveling with the family to/from Sonoma where they have a residence (late Fridays‑early Mondays may be spent here on a somewhat regular basis)
Qualifications
A candidate who lives in San Francisco or has existing experience in or ties to San Francisco is highly desired for this role
Requirements
Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record
Candidate to hire must be a self‑starter and can take charge, the parents like to provide guidelines but want someone who can color in the rest so to speak rather than needing to be very specific
There is a 20‑pound dog in the home who is a sweetheart and hypoallergenic so the candidate to hire must be comfortable around a dog and walking the dog as well if needed
Salary and Benefits
Christmas and Thanksgiving off, all other holidays will be worked if they fall on the nanny's week they are working and will alternate annually with the other ROTA nanny
No PTO because this role is 26 weeks annually and therefore 26 weeks the candidate has off
Healthcare stipend
$125k‑140k salary depending on candidate's education, experience, and prior ROTA nanny experience
