Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a hands on
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
for our growing PE owned infrastructure services client located in Fort Worth, Texas. This role reports to the CEO and is responsible for M&A, Corporate Development, Corporate Finance and FP&A functions as well as accounting oversight. Role is Hybrid (3+ days per week) in the office located in Fort Worth with minimal domestic travel. Base salary up to $225k DOE plus bonus opportunity, LTI and benefits Bachelors Degree and 10+ years experience in investment banking, Big 4 advisory, corporate development and/or financial leadership required; MBA preferred Experience with M&A and Corporate Development (Buy and Sell Side) with a PE/IB firm required Experience with contract review required Experience in infrastructure, oil & gas upstream / midstream, EPC or construction sectors strongly preferred Role Overview
M&A / Corporate Finance
Assist with researching, monitoring and valuation analysis for new and existing investments Manage various processes that help us identify which investments to buy or sell Produce investment presentational materials for executive and investor presentations Special projects as requested by CEO, Board or PE Investors FP&A
Financial Planning: Manage the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Coordinate with CEO and Board to ensure alignment with overall company goals. Forecasting: Create rolling financial forecasts and analyze variances against actual results. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide recommendations when necessary. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts. Present findings to senior management in a clear and actionable manner. Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA strongly preferred and a minimum 10+ years’ experience in investment banking, advisory or corporate finance required Experience with IB, M&A, Corporate Development and/or Advisory required (Buy and Sell Side) Experience in infrastructure, oil & gas upstream/midstream, EPC or construction sectors strongly preferred Heavy financial modeling and analysis experience required Experience with contract review required Understanding of GAAP and Accounting Compliance required
