ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center are seeking a Physician Assistant

to join their Neurocritical Care team. The successful candidate will perform admissions and discharges, histories, physical exams, ongoing patient assessments and management, daily rounding, and ICU procedures (arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and intubation). One year of critical care experience is required. Responsibilities

Employment by ECU Health Physicians. Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center. 24 bed NSICU. Supervising physician is an experienced neurointensivist. Ability to perform ICU procedures. Inpatient responsibilities only. 7 on / 7 off, 12 hour shift schedule. Integrated EMR is EPIC. Large referral network including over 100 ECU Health Physician practices and 8 ECU Health owned hospitals. Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20+ neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists, and 13 subspecialty neurologists.
