Shipping Specialist (Administrative)
The Shipping Specialist is responsible for performing a final quality inspection and packaging products per internal training and applicable work instructions. Our products are shipped worldwide, and end users rely on the products built by AMHI. The position requires attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Able to perform the final inspection of AMI products per applicable inspection checklists.
Packages AMI products per internal training and applicable work instructions.
Follow quality procedures applicable.
Responsible for entering proper information on tablets including but not limited to (time, quantity, serial number, etc.).
Responsible for entering the proper information into the PaceJet shipping system and attaching the proper labels to the packaging.
Notify Quality Assurance if any product or material is nonconforming.
Notify Inventory Control of any inventory shortages (i.e. packaging materials, parts, etc.).
Update internal reprocessed items log for items found during inspection.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.
Other duties as assigned.
