SEAFOOD PROCESSOR 2ND SHIFT CARROLLTON PLANT Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Species harvested and processed by Trident include virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. Job Summary : The Seafood Processor 1 role processes seafood products by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities

Cleans, scraps, and trims product.

Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.

Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.

Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter.

Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.

Operates machine(s) to move live or packed seafood from place to place.

Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.

Additional Responsibilities

Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.

Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Entry level position. No minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year experience in food manufacturing

HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee moves objects regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
