DUTIES
Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization
Requirements The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field, plus 4 years’ relevant experience. Experience must include (1) four years of experience in each of the following: as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud, web, and mobile applications; troubleshooting networking, security, and database management in cloud environments; creating automation scripts for AWS deployments; optimizing cost and resource utilization in AWS environments; automating CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized environments; with Terraform and CloudFormation templates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC); containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or AWS ECS; (2) three years of experience in each of the following: planning and enforcing cloud architecture best practices; writing and troubleshooting root cause analyses for AWS; with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC; (3) two years of experience with CI/CD tools like Azure Devops, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar; and (4) one year of experience with FastLane to deploy iOS and Android mobile applications. All experience may be gained concurrently. In addition, the position requires availability up to 70 hours per week to meet project deadlines, critical operational needs, and business demands and availability during extended hours or on‑call support depending on project timelines or urgent security issues.
