Senior Accountant
Location: Nashville, TN
A growing, privately held company in Nashville is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead key areas of the month‑end close and cost accounting process. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, involvement with operations, and the opportunity to mentor junior staff in a collaborative, no‑micromanagement culture. Targeting a salary range of $75,000–$100,000.
Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Own core close activities and maintain accurate reconciliations.
Manage cost accounting, WIP tracking, and margin analysis.
Support AP/PO processes and 3‑way match oversight.
Partner with leadership to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
Mentor an entry‑level accountant and support continuous improvement.
What You Bring
3–7 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or logistics.
Strong cost accounting and month‑end close expertise.
Excel proficiency (pivots, lookups) and ERP experience (NetSuite a plus).
Solid understanding of GAAP and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
