Billing Specialist
Location: Toms River, NJ | Pay: $20/hr | Schedule: Full‑Time, Onsite, 8:30am–5pm (flex to 9am start)

What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare and submit clean insurance claims (electronic & paper)
Manage account payments and processing of insurance payments
Respond to consumer, staff, and insurance billing inquiries
Identify and resolve billing issues and consumer complaints
Prepare and send patient statements; manage delinquent accounts
Contact consumers and payers regarding collection actions
Support Finance with system improvements and reporting
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Generate reports and billing activity analysis as needed
What They’re Looking For
High School Diploma or higher
Proven experience as a billing specialist
Strong Excel and MS Office skills; ER software proficiency
Knowledge of billing practices and insurance claims processing
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Post‑payment experience, Excel, and Billing
