Pay:
$20.00 – $24.00 per hour, DOE

Job Summary The Plating Operator is responsible for the full operation of PCB plating equipment and processes, ensuring product quality, equipment uptime, and safety. The role requires operating a variety of plating baths and equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Review product flow and ensure all products are aligned with specifications.
Maintain and clean equipment; perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Operate and maintain the various pieces of equipment within the department.
Measure out proper quantities and make chemical additives to baths or sumps.
Manually set up and transfer solutions between tanks, totes, or barrels.
Work safely around open sumps, plating tanks, and mechanical hoists.
Assist lower‑level employees with basic set‑up and operations; provide relief support on equipment and processes.
Use computer interfaces to enter operating parameters and job information.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in PCB manufacturing environment.
Competent in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
Knowledge of electroless copper, electrolytic copper, electrolytic tin, etching, resist stripping, electrolytic gold, ENIG, co‑bra bond, HALS.
Ability to work effectively in an open‑sump, plating‑tank environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Manipulate hand carts when moving 55‑gallon drums.
Stand or walk for long periods of time.
