Regional Technology Field Lead - DFW (Sept. 2025) We’re looking for a regional technology lead to provide direct support to our Dallas and Fort Worth apartment communities and support centers.

You will be responsible for the technology and equipment—including computers, tablets, printers, network gear, and low‑voltage hardware—used by residents and staff.

Role Overview As a Regional Technology Lead, you deliver hands‑on support directly to the Dallas and Fort Worth apartment communities and support centers' technology and equipment, including computers, tablets, printers, network equipment, and low‑voltage hardware.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance; complete additional projects as assigned.

Diagnose, recommend, and sometimes repair low‑voltage technology issues—such as cameras, gates, meters, and general wiring.

Maintain technical competence through self‑study, provided training, and attendance at meetings that provide updated information about the current computing environment.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain network hardware and wiring to ensure optimal network performance and coverage.

Show proficiency in documenting systems, setups, and procedures.

Maintain an onsite presence at communities 75% of the time.

Collaborate effectively with team members to identify problems and work toward solutions.

Accept responsibility for user account changes, technology policy application, and automation as required.

Demonstrate tact, discretion, and good judgement required for dealing with confidential information.

Take responsibility for ensuring desktop solutions remain stable and operational.

Ensure that changes and updates are implemented methodically and without anticipated interruption of services at each site.

Troubleshoot problems with local and network printers and print queues; fix problems with server hardware and phone system.

Field requests for technical assistance, record them in a ticketing system, and resolve issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements and departmental expectations.

Exhibit aptitude in troubleshooting hardware and software.

Execute periodic community inspections, provide proactive technology support, and recommend improvements to enhance the associate experience around technology for all sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

A+, Network+, MCDST, Dell, Apple, and other related certifications preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; superb customer service and interpersonal skills.

Superior critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Desire to learn new technologies.

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment; experience working as part of a project team a plus.

In‑depth knowledge of Windows and Mac OS X operating systems as well as Office applications; capability to install, configure, and troubleshoot each OS.

Working knowledge of Active Directory.

Familiarity with mobile device hardware and software (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, etc.).

Ability to travel on a weekly cadence for installs, repairs, and other service requests.
