Job Summary
CHI Health Clinic is actively seeking a full‑time OB/GYN to join our established practice in La Vista, Nebraska. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust practice that offers comprehensive maternity and gynecologic services in a collaborative environment that includes primary care, diabetes education, psychology, physical therapy, and pharmacy. The practice has a patient panel, ambulatory surgery center, and tertiary care delivery for referred cases.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat medical conditions affecting women through comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and maintain detailed patient histories.
Document patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies.
Perform procedures as needed, including in‑office ultrasound, NST, colposcopy, and LEEP (inpatient only).
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient‑centered care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Provide consultative services and support to other healthcare providers.
Engage in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and audit participation.
Maintain current knowledge of medical advancements and best practices through ongoing education.
Contribute to development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
American Board Certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology; mandates a valid, unrestricted state medical license (Iowa or Nebraska).
Ability to obtain Iowa and Nebraska licenses and to practice in the region.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
Commitment to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
Experience with EPIC, DaVinci robotic surgery, ambulatory surgery center workflow, and patient‑centered teamwork.
Practice Details & Work Environment
Team of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers.
Call schedule 1:6+
Average 21‑24 patient visits per day per provider; 10 deliveries per month per provider.
Full‑spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care for women of all ages.
In‑office ultrasound, NST, colposcopy; LEEP available inpatient only.
Access to DaVinci robotic system and state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Efficient ambulatory surgery center; deliveries at tertiary care facility with level 3 NICU.
Academic appointment opportunity with Creighton University and involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
