The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Senior Operational Business Systems Analyst, ERP on behalf of a leading global manufacturer of precision fasteners and fastening solutions for the electronics, automotive and industrial industries. In this role, you will support and optimize the Enterprise Resource Planning platform to meet evolving business needs. You will gather requirements, create specifications, implement changes that enhance business processes and drive efficiency, particularly in manufacturing and distribution. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with JD Edwards, strong relationship‑building skills, independent and team work capabilities, a deep understanding of strategic business directives, and meticulous attention to detail. Role & Responsibility
Collaborate with business stakeholders to document and prioritize business needs, create test cases, and communicate detailed requirements to development teams. Develop a strong understanding of existing manufacturing and distribution processes, inventory management, quality controls, production planning, and supply chain activities. Drive system utilization to improve decision‑making, create process efficiencies, and deliver measurable business value through KPIs and regular reviews. Understand JD Edwards platform capabilities and collaborate with the ERP development team to propose solutions that align with business objectives. Provide training and support to end‑users, ensuring proficiency with JD Edwards tools and features, and drive adoption activities. Lead and manage JD Edwards projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards, and communicate weekly progress. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system performance. Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and user guides. Stay up‑to‑date on new JD Edwards releases and identify opportunities to apply new features. Ensure JD Edwards implementations comply with regulatory certifications and standard IT practices, including service request tracking and change management. Act as a subject‑matter expert for manufacturing/distribution processes and applications, serving as liaison between GIS, Operations, Application Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers. Build system capabilities to drive business value focused on key operational pillars: External Growth, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty, and Team Efficiency. Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered. 5+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards applications; automotive industry experience highly desirable. 5+ years of in‑depth knowledge of the JD Edwards platform, specifically in manufacturing or distribution modules; experience with other JD Edwards modules is a plus. Proficiency in JD Edwards configuration and integration with other systems; development tools experience is a plus. 25-50% travel within the organization’s global footprint.
